Anil, Sanjay and the mother of Boney Kapoor, funeral toke pleace of Nirmal Kapoor on Saturday at the Vile Parle Crematorium, Pawan Hans, in Mumbai. She was the wife of the late Southwester film producer Kapoor and the matriarch of the renowned Kapoor family. The funeral arrangements were shared by the Kapoor family, who also expressed his complaint in a sincere statement.

Several celebrities gave their respect and reached the residence of Boney Kapoor in Mumbai to honor their memory. Prominent figures such as Anupam Kher, Arbaaz Khan, Cousins Rani and Ayan Makerji. Members of the Anil Kapoor family, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Jahaan Kapoor, Mahep Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor were seen yielding to the taxes.
Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Reena Kapoor Marwah and Arjun Kapoor arrived on Friday night with their mortal remains. Other notable visitors included Shikhariya, Ananya Panday, Javed Akhtar, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff and Veer Pahariya with family members.

The statement said that Nirmal died peacefully on May 2, 2025, at the age of 90, at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Roded by her loved ones, she lived a full and cheerful life, leaving behind her four children-Boney, Anil, Sanjay and Reena Kapoor Marwah-Along with her family of respect, including eleven great greats. Her generous spirit and unlimited love touched many, and she will remain forever in their hearts.
