Aamir Khan’s new film, Slartare Zameen Par, had a strong start at the box office, helped by good reviews and mouth to mouth. Around the weekend, the film did very well, especially on Sunday, when it won RS 27.25 million rupees, its collection of a single higher day so far.

However, like many films, he saw a fall in profits on Monday. The film made RS 8.50 million rupees on its first day of the week, which was lower than expected and did not cross the RS 10 million breaks. Even so, the total collection during the first four days is now RS 66.65 million rupees in India.
