Royalty review
Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, The Royals of Netflix is a fun and dignified series that will take a wild trip with romance and drama like a royal in bankruptcy and a CEO reaches an agreement for its mutual benefits. But are they successful in bringing each other?
The real ones begin with Sophia Kanmani Shekhar (Bhumi Pednekar) preparing for the greatest launch of his life while attending a prize function in Sri Lanka. Duration A race of the morning beach, it is possible for a VIP photo shoot to be a hero there; However, being a CEO of strength (which is also quite impulsive) Sophia breaks the barricade and continues his career, resulting in ravages in the sets. Here they present us to the VIP, Aviraaj Singh, also known as Fizzy (Ishaan Khatter), the future Maharaj or Morphur Coronado. After another meeting not so pleasant between the ‘Horse Boy’ and the ‘Beach Girl’, the duo goes to a hotel room for a smoking night that ends abruptly due to telephone calls of his family and work, respectively.
After returning to their worlds, the two are once again when an agreement between Sophia Company and Morphur’s real ones is reached, in which Sophia and his team will renew their palace (that is almost in ruins) and will transform the common the common the common of the real life of the real life of Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale Bniale. Once in the palace, Sophia meets Digvijay Singh (Vihaan Samat) and knows that he is not the king, but the prince and Aviraaj is the one in charge. After almost losing the commercial agreement before a competitor, the Maharaja and the CEO decide to work together, since the real ones desperately need money and Sophia needs BNB to succeed to survive. The series of 8 episodes long focuses on how, despite appearing on the same page, the two continue to collide, falling in love, face the many skeletons that leave the closet plus confrontations, consequences of relationships, broken dreams and much more.
What works
Comedy, romance, music, images, costumes, dialogues: all these aspects make Netflix’s real clock that will surely be seen at once.
What doesn’t work
The characters lack depth, and those who have it have little or no presence on the screen.
Technical analysis
Writing
In a word, writing is inconsistent. It is irregular, is weak in points and equally incredible (also more than a maharaja who falls in love with a plebey and expresses his true feelings). The first time you notice the writing stumbling block is found in episode 1, since the basis of the ‘enemy of lovers’ plot of the series seems to be out of place and forced.
The cast of the royal
The Royals presents an overall cast that includes actors and first year students. While Mishra and Sumukhi Suresh are the impressive young people.
Ishaan Khatter embodies the part of Maharaja Aviraaj Singh perfectly. Your performance, dialogue delivery, saas, dance, horses, style, aura (I can move on) is all at the point. However, the only inconvenience is the arch of his character and Aviraaj’s tendency to change his romantic partners as minerals like his mother buy diamond jewelry.
Bhumi Pednekar offers a somewhat credible performance, however, it is not one of the strongest. She is strong and flat in scenes (sometimes it is the same scene)
Conclusion
If you love ROMs, The Royals of Netflix is a custom show for you. It has the right amounts of romances, comedy and drama, which makes it a Modern Horth fairy tale. However, stumbles on giving all your characters enough screen time.
