A 19 -year -old man in Maharashtra was arrested for charges to rape and kill a 10 -year -old girl. The incident occurred near a residential building in Mumbra.
The defendant was identified as Asif Mansuri, who attracted the girl with some groceries and touched her a separated place near the residential society.
He supposedly raped her, killed her and abandoned her body.
The incident came to light after the girl’s body was found in the place.
He thought the defendant had arrested, the locals protested in a nearby police station, demanding that they deliver it to the public.
Meanwhile, the girl’s body was sent by an autopsy.
When commenting on the incident, a high police officer told journalists that a medical examination of the girl’s body suggested sexual assault.
The defendant in the case was arrested, he said, adding that the cause of the girl’s death was examined.
