22 Maoists arrested, explosives seized in Chhattisgarh

Twenty -two Maoists have been arrested and explosive materials seized from them in three places in the Chhattisgarh Bijapur district, police said Thursday (April 17, 2025).

Seven lower steps were arrested were arrested on Tuesday (April 15) from a forest near the Tekmetla village under the area of ​​the user police station, when a joint cobra team (Command battalion for the Resolute action, an operation of the elite unit) and the premises said.

Six other Maoists were arrested from strong in the Belchahaha village under the limits of the Jangla police station, while nine cadadte were caught from a forest in the Kandakarka village under the area of ​​the Nelasnar Police Station on Tuesday, he said.

The separate joint equipment of security personnel were involved in these two actions.

Tiffin bombs, gelatin sticks, detonators, electrical cables, batteries, maoist pamphlets and other articles were recovered from the arrested maoists, between 19 and 45 years, said the official.
