An earthquake of moderate intensity, which measures 3.4 on the Richter scale, hit the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday (April 13, 2025), authorities said.
The depth of the earthquake, which hit the city of Mandi at 9:18 am, was 5 km, said the position.
The epicenter was located in a latitude of 31.49 degrees and 76.94 degrees in length in the Mandi region, he said.
So far there was no loss of lives and properties of any part of the State, authorities said. The Mandi district falls in zone 5 seismic, which is a high lady risk area.
