A three -year -old boy died, 45 days after being bitten by a rabid dog, authorities said on Sunday (April 13, 2025).

They also discovered that another 10 children were also attacked by the same dog and had no treatment tasks.

The victim, Anshu, succumbed to the effects of rabies in a private hospital near his village on Friday, they said.

The incident occurred in the Nagla Nathlu village under Charra Police Station. His family said he began to show “strange symptoms” such as hydrophobia (extreme water fear), which is a classic sign of advanced rage, a few days before his death.

His death led to the revelation that another 10 children were also attacked by the same rabid dog. After this, a team of health officials hastened to the village on Friday.

In a deeply worrying discovery, the medical team discovered that none of the ten victims of children, between two and 12 years old, looked for a medical treatment after being bitten that the rabid animal bit a little bitten by the rabid animal.

The medical director (CMO) or the district of Aligarh, Dr. Neeraj Tyagi, told the media: “We have tasks of this matter very seriously, and an impulse is being launched for all preventive steps such as the administration of vaccines against rabies.”

However, the CMO clarified that it could definitely confirm anger as the cause of Anshu’s death.

“First of all, the wandering dog was killed after the incident, so we could not perform tests in the canino. In the same way, we could not examine the deceased child before dying and confirm a diagnosis,” he explained.

In addition, he assured the public that government hospitals have an adequate “anti-babis vaccines to handle the threat.”
