Tamil Nadu’s prime minister and DMK president MK Stalin, on Saturday (April 12, 2025) claimed that Aiadmk’s leaders who had mortgaged the party after two raids by the central agencies tried to mortgage the state aligning with the BJP.
A scam was in a statement in Chennai, said the alliance.
“After the relatives of Aiadmk’s officers were subjected to raids by the central agencies, Aiadmk’s leaders ran to BJP leadership. The BJP used the opportunity to force an alliance.

The prime minister said that the Aiadmk-BJP combination was a failed alliance and that the people of Tamil Nadu had continually defeated it in the elections.
“The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, has created a failed alliance again. It could be his desire to create the alliance. But he has not explained the reasons and principles behind his creation. He has just said that it would be a common minister.
Mr. Stalin also wanted to know if the CMP would include the opposition of the Aiadmk to Neet, the WAQF bill and delimitation (amendment) that could reduce the number of Lok Sabha seats to Tamil Nadu.

“Mr. Shah did not mention those problems and did not allow Aiadmk’s leadership to express his position. He criticized the DMK, the state government and me,” said Stalin.
The prime minister said the DMK had been fighting for the rights of states, the Tamil culture, while the BJP-Aadmk alliance had been formed by lust by power.
“The leadership of BJP seeks to destroy Tamil Nadu through various designs, including the imposition of Hindi and delimitation. Aiadmk’s leaders are former united workers and the BJP has forced them to join the Alliance. Tamil Nadu, people will teach an adequate lesson to the Aiadmk that has been mortgage to Tamil Nadu to Delhi without any Selgo, “he said.
