All the Indies Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (Aiadmk) General Secretary and leader of the opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami announced that the Wing of the Women would celebrate a protest on April 16 against the minister in the female comment.

The protest will be carried out near Panagal Maligai in Saidopet and will be directed by former Ministers B. Valarmathi and S. Gokula Indira, said in a statement.

Many of the DMK are making derogatory comments about women and religious beliefs. Ponmudy’s speech has angered the people of the state’s special women, Palaniswami said, while strongly condemning the minister’s speech.

Ponmudy was Highher’s Minister of Education and his derogatory speech has created concern and shock among people, Hey added.

The protest is to condemn Mr. Ponmudy for his speech and highlight that there is no place for the policy of incidents in the state, Palaniswami said.
