Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh meets PM Modi

Chief of the Chief of Air, the head of the Marshal of the Air, AP Singh, on Sunday (May 4, 2025) with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is understood that he has the situation of the security situation that arises from the growing tensions between India and Pakistan about Pahalgam’s deadly terrorist attack.

The meeting occurred less than 24 hours after the admiral of the head of the Marina Dineh K. Tripathi informed the prime minister about the general situation in the critical marine lanes in the Arabic sea.

The air chief held a meeting with Prime Minister Modi, the sources said without giving more details. There is still no official word at the Modi-Singh meeting.

Citing “cross -border links” to the attack of the pahalgama on April 22 that killed 26 civilians, India has promised severe punishment to those involved in the strike.

In a high -level meeting with the maximum brass of defense, Prime Minister Modi, last Tuesday (April 29, 2025), cools, the “complete operational freedom” of the Armed Forces “completes the operational freedom to decide on fashion, objectives and the moment of the response to Pahalgam’s terrorist attack.

Mr. Modi also emphasized the national resolution to give a “overwhelming blow to terrorism.”

A day after the attack, India announced a series of punitive measures against Tracks, including the suspension of the Indo Water Treaty, the closure of the country’s border in Attari and degradation of diplomatic ties.

In response, Pakistan closed his airspace to Indian airplanes and suspended all trade with India, even through third countries.

In new punitive measures, India imposed a complete prohibition of Pakistan Ales imports with an immediate effect on national security reasons and public policies. Nueva Delhi also suspended all Pakistan’s postal services and prohibited the entry of ships with Pakistani flag into Indian ports.
