Air India Express Pilot Dies In Delhi After Operating Flight From Srinagar

An Air India Express pilot died due to a medical condition in the national capital on Wednesday shortly after operating a flight from Srinagar, according to a source.

The pilot, about 30 years old, operated the flight from Srinagar to Delhi and did not feel good after landing at Delhi airport. It was tasks of a hospital but died, said the source.

“We deeply regret the loss of a valuable colleague due to a medical condition … we are extending all possible assistance to them, since we all deal with this tremendous loss,” said a airline spokesman in a statement on Thursday.

No more details could be determined.

“We ask all concerns to respect privacy at this time and avoid unnecessary speculation while we commit to help the relevant authorities in due process,” said the spokesman.
