A few hours after the formal announcement of an alliance with the BJP, Aiadmk general secretary, Edappadi K. Palaniswami, said Friday that the alliance was united in its unwavering commitment to free Tamil Nadu from the regressive, evil.
In a publication on social networks, Mr. Palaniswami said that the alliance would rectify the historical steps that have hindered the progress of the State and lay the foundations of an era of inclusive growth, development and opportunity.
