The speakers of the 134th Ambedkar Jayanti held at the National University of Sanskrit (NSU) praised Dr. Br ambedkar for their deep taste for the Sanskrit language, which had just proposed to be the national language.
The vice chancellor of the NSU, GSR Krishnamurthy, in the course of his direction glorifying the importance of Sanskrit, mentioned that even Dr. Ir. Ambedkar had proposed Sanskrit as the official language.
It can be remembered that Dr. Ambedkar had presented an amendment in the Constituent Assembly proposed by Sanskrit as “the official language of the Union”, which was accepted by 16 signatories, all from states that do not speak Hindi. The complement proposal was to make English the official language for 15 years until the Sanskrit became acceptable.
Expressing fun about the information, a member of Parliament (Chittoor) Dag Gumalla Prasada Rao recalled the role of Ambedkar as a guide light for modern India.
Similarly, the national vice president of the Medical Association of India (IMA) Daggumati Srihari Rao and the scientist of Isro T. Srinivas Reddy also paid floral taxes to the portrait of Ambedkar and recalled their vision for society.
The Coordinator of the P. Venkata Rao program, the academics JB Chakravarti and D. Nallanna also spoke.
