The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, on Saturday (April 12, 2025) paid tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Raigad Fort in Maharashtra on his 345th anniversary of death.
Mr. Shah was accompanied by Prime Minister Devendra Fadnavis, his deputies Eknath Shind and Ajit Pawar, and the deputy of BJP Udayanraje Bosale and State Minister of State Shivendrarasinh Bosale, both beneficiaries of King Guerrero de Marathha.
The Minister of the Union arrived in Raigad from Pune in the morning.
Previously, Mr. Shah and other dignitaries sacrificed floral taxes to Jouabai, the mother of Shivaji Maharaj, in Pachad near Raigad Fort.
Mr. Shah will participate in several programs in Raigad Fort and will have lunch with the NCP deputy of Raigad Sunil Tatkare in the Litro residence in Sutarwadi.

Talking to journalists, Mr. Tatkare said there would be no political discussion for lunch.
The lunch meeting has arrived in the context of differences between Mahayuti’s allies on the position of Guardian Minister for the Rigad district.
Mr. Fadnavis had appointed the Minister of the Cabinet, Aditi Tatkare, such as Guardian Minister, but had to maintain the decision after the opposition of Shiv Sena, which is Bharat Gogawale in office.
The NCP deputy said that Guardian’s minister was not on the agenda of the lunch meeting.
