Andhra Pradesh Govt. sanctions tariff subsidy of ₹4,471 crore to Discoms for Q1 of 2025-26

The Andhra Pradesh government granted on Saturday the administrative sanction for a sum of approximately ₹ 4,471 million rupees to the member member of the member of the Power Coordination Committee AP (APPCC) for early claims (distribution) payable payments for Disoms Fy 2025-26.

In a go issued to that sense by the Special Chief Secretary (Energy) K. Vijayanand, the Government had granted a comprehensive budget release order for almost ₹ 12,940 million rupees (for tariff subsidies) for the period of April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, and according to section 65 of the Law of the Law of 2003 of 2003, the Government had Disabilities.

The Undersecretary of the Government and the Drawing and Disbursement Officer of the Department of Energy had been ordered to send the sanctioned amount (₹ 4,471 million rupees) in the bank accounts of the disoms.
