A Special Research Team (SIT) in Andhra Pradesh has intensified its research on an alleged scam of several steps spirits by issuing a notice to the former member of Rajya Sabha and leader of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) V Vijayasai Reddy. They have been put in their sum to appear for the questions on April 18, since researchers examine their alleged connections with key individuals and companies involved in the case.

The alleged liquor scam, which developed the duration of YSRCP government directed by Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy, supposedly falls a loss of RS 18,860 million rupees to the state treasure. According to the reports, the scheme meant granting preferential treatment to less known and newly formed liquor brands that paid bribes, while the established national brands were marginalized.

The points of sale of liquors administered by the Government for shares and sell only selected brands were supposedly manipulated, effectively monopolizing the market.

Allied Blenders’ actions obtained a severe blow in the exchange on April 15, after the reports of the SIT movements.

In a statement, the distillery said: “We would like to clarify that the company has not received any communication from the banks or any regulatory authority or application agencies regarding this action. Therefore, this news is speculative.”

The Andhra Pradesh government constituted the SIT on November 6 to investigate accusations that liquor companies may have paid bribes to the political and administrative actors of the previous regime in exchange for commercial favorites, including the Orderstrory market in bulk.

“Abd has always operated in full compliance with the law and maintains the highest standards of transparency and corporate governance,” the company added.

Vijayasai Reddy, Delhi’s points for YSRCP president and former main minister of Andhra Pradesh, Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy, announced in January that it was the resignation of Parliament and says goodbye to the policy to return to agriculture.

In a long statement published in X, the public accountant who became an important figure in the AP policy in the last decade declared that he would not join any political party after this.
