AP-Transco executing 55 transmission projects worth ₹4,965 crore, says Chief Secretary

The chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh, K. Vijayanand, said that 55 transmission projects, including the increase in ICT capacity and the installation of additional bus reactors for reactive energy management, for a value of $ 4,965 million of rupees are found in various stages of execution and the next commissioner and the next commissioner and the next commissioner and the next being in which.

AP-Transco has recently made orders for almost 10 important projects that cost ₹ 3,407 million rupees, including the 400 kV and 220 kV diversion of the lines within the capital region. In addition, tenders are floating for 47 works worth ₹ 5,323 million rupees under several government schemes, he said.

In the process of integrating advanced technologies, such as SCADA systems and automation in substations to modernize their infrastructure and these updates are intended to improve real -time monitoring, improve efficiency and minimize energy losses, he said.

Growth consumption

The state energy utility is preparing to meet the growing daily consumption, which is expected to reach 260 million units (MU) in the coming months. The AP-Transco is aligning its operations with the broader energy vision of the state government, with an approach to the delivery of quality infrastructure, minimization transmission losses and guaranteeing an uninterrupted energy supply, Vijayanand added.

AP-Transco Joint MD Kirthi Chekuri, Director (Grid) AKV Bhaskar, Chief Engineer (Projects) T. Suevevan Kumar, Superintendent Engineers P. Ramaclandra Prasad and K. Bindu and other officials were present at the review meeting.
