Prime Minister Omar Abdullah said Tuesday that he was hope that the state of state will be restored to Jammu and Kashmir very soon and that the “appropriate moment” arrived.

I was talking to journalists after inaugurating a bridge in the pulwama district.

“We believe that the appropriate time has come; six months have passed since the elections of the Assembly.

To the accusation of the opposition that the ruling party sank the discussion on the WAQF amendment law, said the motion of the postponement could not have admitted bone when the bill was approved by Parliament.

“The speaker made everything clear on the last day. Perhaps the error of the members was that they presented a default motion. A postponement motion is only presented to discuss the works of the JK government that the government has to answer.

“Tell me, if I had accepted that postponement motion, how would we have responded since the WAQF bill was not brought by us? It was approved by the center in Parliament,” he said.

Abdullah said that a resolution under different rules in the assembly could have been admitted.

“However, that has happened now. Many parts, including the National Conference, have moved to the Supreme Court and, very well their views before the Apex Court. Now, we see what the SC says,” he added. When commenting on the inauguration of the bridge, Abdullah said it was unfortunate that the bridge that connected to Char-Ee-Haharief with South Kashmir Tok 11 years to rebuild after being dragged into the floods of 2014.

“It is unfortunate that this toks is a long time for repruce.
