Tatkal ticket times: Amid the rumor on social media platforms regarding changes in Tatkal and the reserve times of Tatkal Premium train tickets, Indian Railways has issued a statement that clarifies that such changes have not been proposed or implemented.

Indian Railways has urged passengers to trust only official sources of any information related to ticket reserve rules and not to believe such rumors.
Current times for Tatkal tickets
According to IRCTC, Tatkal tickets can be reserved one day before the trip date, excluding travel day, from the train of the train. The opening day can be reserved from 10:00 IST for the CA class (2a/3a/cc/ec/3rd) and 11:00 is for the non -AC class (SL/fc/2s). Tatkal reserves are allowed in all classes waiting for First Ac.
According to the rules, the Tatkal reserve installation is available only for trains selected under the tatkal quota. The reserve is allowed for a maximum or four passengers by PNR. Additional tatkal charges are applied by passenger, separated from the regular rate. No refund is granted for canceling a confirmed tatkal ticket.
Passengers can reserve tatkal e-tops through the website or official IRCTC application.
