A Junior Commissioner (JCO) officer of the Indian Army was killed in a meeting with militants along the control line (LOC) in the Akhnoor sector, Jammu, defense officials said, and added that his infiltration offer was frustrated.

In the same area on February 11, two army staff, including one captain, died and another was an injury when terrorists began an improvised explosive device (FDI).
