A delegation from the 16th Finance Commission (FC) led by its president Arvind Panagariya arrived here on Tuesday (April 15, 2025) at night. They were received by the Minister of Finance, Pyyavula Keshav.

Mr. Panagariya and his team are scheduled to meet with Prime Minister N. Chandabu Naidu in the Secretariat on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) in the morning.
Mr. Naidu will make a presentation to the Finance Commission on State Finance, after which they will meet with representatives of political parties.
On April 17, the Finance Commission team will visit Tangupati, where they maintain parleys with associations of industry and commerce and representatives of local organizations.
They will return to the national capital on April 18 after having Darshan in the Tirumala temple.
