The Minister of Tourism of La Unión, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, said on Tuesday that the government needs to preserve the grave or ruler Mogol Aurengzeb as part of the inheritance of the nation, but that citizens should not be proud of that.
His comments arrived in the midst of calls to eliminate the tomb of Aurangzebs and the tomb in Aurengabad, which is now known as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district in Maharashtra.

“The prime minister has said that the Government will respect and preserve our heritage … When we talk about our inheritance, history is painted with all colors: some with black ink and others with gold. The writings with black ink are also part of our inheritance, so we need to preserve them.
“I have said that the attackers who came to India can be in our history, but they cannot be something we should be proud. We need to differentiate both of them,” added the minister.
