Judge Zakir Hossain has scheduled on April 27 to review the progress in the execution of trial orders, according to the defendant accused Aminul Islam.

A court in Bangladesh issued orders of trial against the expelled from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, his sister Sheikh Rehana, the British deputy Tulip Rizwana Siddiq and another 50 in relation to the allegal power.

Dhaka Senior Metropolitan Senior Judge, Zakir Hossain, approved the order after considering three separate charges presented by the Anti -Corruption Commission (ACC), Dhaka Tribune Newpaper reported.

Judge Hossain set on April 27 to review the reports on the execution of the sentence orders, said the newspaper citing the accusing director (prosecution) Aminul Islam.

Citing judicial sources, the new Bengali paper Prothom Alo reported that the award presented charges to the Court against 53 people in three cases separated by corruption charges in the assignment of the plot.

Like all the 53 defendants, including Hasina, they were fleeing, the court issued the guaranteed sentence against him, said the newspaper.

On April 10, the same court issued a trial trial against Hasina, his daughter Saima Wazed Putul and another 17 in a separate corruption case related to the assignments of the Rajuk plot.

Putul has served as Regional Director of Southeast Asia for the World Health Organization (WHO) based in New Delhi since November 1, 2023.

On January 13, the ACC presented a case against Rehana for allegedly acquiring a 10 Katha plot in the project of the new city of Purbachal through the abuse of authority. The case called 15 defendants, including British legislators of Hasina y Rehana, British legislator Tulip Rizwana Siddiq. Rehana did not occupy any official position in the last regime.

After the investigation, ACC presented a charges on March 10 against 17 people, adding two more names.

In a second case, the ACC presented charges against Azmina Siddiq for similar irregularities in the acquisition of a 10 katha plot in Purbachal. This case began 16 defendants, including Tulip Siddiq and Sheikh Hasina. The final charges, presented on March 10, called 18 people.

The ACC presented a third case on the same day against the son of Rehana, Radwan Mujib Siddiq, accused of observing a plot using political influence. Tulip Siddiq and Sheikh Hasina were among the 16 named in the initial complaint. The final load sheet also included 18 drums.

Hasina is also accused of numerous positions such as mass murders and crimes against humanity, and forced disappearances while the cases of thesis were presented before the International Crime Court of Bangladesh.

The 16 -year -old Awami League regime of Hasina was overthrown on August 5 last year in a violent massive uprising led by students. Since then, Hasina, 77, has been living in India.
