The man accused of disturbing a woman in Bangalore, an incident that caused public outrage after being trapped in CCTV, was arrested in the city of Naduvannur in Kerala on Sunday, after a 10 -day human hunt by the police.
The defendant, identified as Santosh, is bringing back to Bengaluru. Police had formed two special teams and reviewed around 700 CCTV recordings.
The incident, which took place on April 3, was captured in CCTV. The images showed the man harassing a woman and her friend as they walked down the street.
The video quickly went viral on social networks, which led to a generalized conviction.
