The deputy of BJP, Jyotirmay Singh Mahato, has written the Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, urging the center to declare selected border districts of Western Bengal as “disturbed areas” under the law of the armed forces (special powers) (Actusce), alleging a repeated repeated community).

In his letter dated April 13, Mr. Mahato claimed that districts such as Murshidabad, Malda, Nadia and South 24 Parganas have witnessed violence against Hindus, with the state administration doing an “eye” due to what he calls the appeasement of “appeasement” of trinamool.

He said that some 86 Hindu houses and stores were looted or destroyed in the Murshidabad district recently and that the civilians, including a man named Hargobindo Das and his son, were killed. In the village of Jhaaubona, he said, Betel leafy plantations caught fire in what he described as “directed economic sabotage.”

These are not isolated incidents. Similar disturbances have been developed in the border districts, leaving the “vulnerable and voiceless Hindu population,” said the deputy.

Referring to the violence that exploded on the WAQF law (amendment), Mahato claimed that mobs attacked Hindu homes, public property and equal police forces. The Superior Court of Calcutta had to intervene and order the deployment of the central armed police force, highlighting the “administrative failure of the State,” he added.

Drawing a parallel with the exodus of the 1990 Kashmir Pandits, the BJP parliamentarian warned that a similar situation could arise in Bengala if the immediate steps were not tasks.

“The most respectful thing I urge you to declare spa in the border districts of Western Bengal,” he wrote, adding that such a measure would help to restore the law and order, deter future violence and assure Hindus that they are not abandoned.

Mr. Mahato concluded the letter with a declaration of “decisive action to guarantee justice, security and the rule of law.” Meanwhile, Ranaghat BJP deputy Jagannath Sarkar also wrote to Mr. Shah and urged the Interior Minister of the Union to intervene urgently in light of the situation of law and order “deteriorated” in the district of Murshidabad of Western Bengal.

He requested a high -level research and monitoring team of the Ministry of Interior and the reinforcement of central forces in vulnerable areas.

Mr. Sarkar emphasized the need for strict legal actions against perpetrators to restore peace and maintain constitutional rights.
