The furious fire and the clouds of thick black smoke that extended through the sky seemed sinister from distance.

“As the path that leads to the unit is narrow and the main section of the factory is located near it, the flames and the thick smoke wrapped it quickly. This made it extremely difficult for firefighters to access the site and carry out rescue operations.
The sub -inspectors Kumara Swamy, Rameh and Inspector Ramakrishna and some others assured that all the injured were transferred to ambulances that had been maintained for about 400 meters from the accident site.
Emergency services, including the police and the Fire Brigade, played a vital role in the rescue of the victims and controlling the fire. It is important to highlight that they quickly acted in ensuring the large stock of firecrackers and raw materials stored in the facilities. His efforts prevented the fire from spreading even more.

While three blocks of the manufacturing unit were completely detention, the police and firefighters worked hard to ensure that the flames did not reach the warehouse where large amounts of firecrackers and raw materials were stored. They worked for approximately two hours, continuously spraying water to prevent the fire from spreading.
“In general, the unit does not contain a lot of firecrackers. It was learned that they recovered good orders since several festivals are just around the corner,” a police officer said Monday.
