The Minister of IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, has successfully stepped on the assignment of 21.16 Acres in Visakhapatnam for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for a symbolic price of 99 lands. In addition, the state cabinet that in the Secretariat approved on Tuesday the allocation of these 21.16 acres to TCS for its facilities. Mr. Lokesh visited Tata House in October last year and made a strong launch for TCS to establish a large development center in Andhra Pradesh. The company will invest ₹ 1,370 million rupees in this unit to create 12,000 jobs.
When heading to a press conference at the Secretariat on Tuesday, the Minister of Water Resources, Nimmala Ramanaidu, said that the cabinet has decided to assign land to TCS/colleagues to encourage investments in Andhra Pradesh. If necessary, the earth would be given for 99 lands.
He, however, did not say specifically if the earth would be leased or sold to you.
With continuous follow -up and discussions between the state government and the TC, Mr. Lokesh finally successful in the allocation of land to TCS. This bold decision indicates to the industry that Andhra Pradesh takes it seriously attracting investments of IT. In the past, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tata Motors A Sanand in Gujarat, assigning them in 99 lands. This became a historical moment for the automotive industry in Gujarat.
The cabinet approved the proposals made by the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) at its meeting held here on April 10. The proposals made by the SIPB with respect to the allocation of land to companies, giving permits, providing basic comforts. The SIPB has so far given its approval to the investments of ₹ 4.62 Lakh to create more than 4.23 Lakh of jobs.
The cabinet cleared the proposal to assign 21.6 acres in hill number 3 for TCS. Similarly, the expansion of the steel plant in Vizianaaram by the Maha Maya industries, the metal manufacturing unit in SRI City in Tiprupati and the establishment of a data center in Visakhapatnam are also approved.
The cabinet nodded to assign 6.35 acres in Pattipadumandal Nadimpalem in the District of Guntur al Esic without cost or a nominal price for a 100 -bed hospital and to build residential rooms of employees. In addition, 30 land acres in Is Raghavapuram in Dwaraka Tirumala Mandal in the Eluru district received free of charge for Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. The proposal to assign 87.56 Acrishnapatnam Village and 220.81 Acres in the Nelratu village of Muthukur Mandal in the SPSR Nellore district to Apiic to establish industrial parks also clear.
