The use of GPS navigation has led to a dangerous situation for a wedding party in Jhansi. The incident occurred at the Magarpur train station in the Sakrar Police Station area.

Three people were traveling to Lalitpur in a car and trusted GPS to navigate their route. Unfortunately, the driver ended at a railway crossing where the vehicle stuck in the ballast.

Despite the driver’s efforts to release the car, they could not do it before the high -speed package approached. The three young people in the vehicle managed to jump just in time to save their lives.

The Bundelkhand Express crashed with the car, which was destroyed after the impact, and stopped after traveling at a short distance. Fortunately, the train did not overturned.

It was observed that there was no door at this railway crossing. The train speed was considerable, and just after the locomotive pilot applied the emergency brakes, the engine tied the car in pieces.

Public Relations officer Boum Kumar Singh declared that the owner of the car has been identified through vehicle registration. A case will be presented against the vehicle owner under the Railroads Law to obtain more measures.

At the beginning of March, there was a tragic incident in Greater Noida, where a station’s teacher lost his life after accidentally driving his car to the drainage sector 4 of 30 feet deep.

A delivery agent called Saurav mentioned that, although the GPS shows a straight road, the vehicles that come from the opposite direction must make an U turn. As a result, these vehicles cannot see what is coming, which leads to daily accidents, he said.

Previously in December 2024, three people in Uttar Pradesh barely escape death when GPS provided incorrect directions. The lack of death occurred in the Kalapura Canal, which is under the jurisdiction of the Izat Nagar Police Station in Bareilly.

Divyanshu, resident of the Kanpur district, was going to a wedding in the Pilibhit district with two friends. After the GPS instructions, Diversuhu was driving when the navigation system took them to the channel’s track near the Kalapura village. Unfortunately, the bridge over the channel broke, which caused Divyanhu to lose control of the vehicle, which fell approximately 15 feet on the channel bed. Fortunately, the channel was dry at the time of the accident.
