Centre Agrees To Status Quo On Waqf Appointments For Now, To File Response In Supreme Court In A Week

The Supreme Court said on Thursday that WAQF, including Waqf-Upter already registered or declared as a notification, will be denoted or the change of collection of collectors until the next hearing in the requests that challenge the WAQF law.

The Supreme Court said on Thursday that WAQF, including Waqf-Upter already registered or declared as a notification, will be denoted or the change of collection of collectors until the next hearing in the requests that challenge the WAQF law.

The court also recorded that the center will respond within seven days.

The comment occurred when the Supreme Court continued to listen to requests by challenging the WAQF (amendment) law.
