Tamil Nadu’s Prime Minister MK Stalin, requested on Wednesday to renew the curricula and the teaching methodology, at the advisory meeting held by him with Vice Chancellors (V-CS) and registrars of all state universities.

New fields should be added such as data science, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing to the curriculum, Stalin said.

Mr. Stalin also requested suggestions to further improve the scope of his PET project, the Naan Mudhalvan scheme, whose objective is to provide training in development of skills linked to employment to young people.
He also asked to strengthen the location of the campus and the expansion of training programs. Mr. Stalin emphasized inclination and equity. By stating that Tamil Nadu’s strength is in his firm focus on social justice, he asked universities to inclusive creative campuses.
