After a wait in a decade, the first phase of the city of Kottayam Science in Kozha in Kuravilangad will open to the public on May 11.
Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will open the project, the first of his son in southern India, in a function that will be held in the case of May 11. The key characteristics of the first phase also include interactive science galleries adapted for students, a scientific park, an activity center, a food court, an astronomical observatory and an electrical substation, among other things.
Rajya Sabha MP, José K. Mani has also proposed to explore collaborative companies between the City of Sciences and the Research Division of the Location of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Valvoor.
Looking towards the future, the second phase of the project will introduce a variety of other facilities that include a space theater simulator and a movement simulator. The plans for an entrance place, an amphitheater, a ring road and parking facilities are also in place. The state budget has allocated ₹ 25 million rupees to complete this phase.
