Pastor John Jebaraj or the church of the Kings generation in Coimbatore have been arrested in Kerala for allegedly sexually assaulting two girls.
Jebaraj was arrested by the Coimbatore City Police in Munnar, Iduki district, Saturday night after evading the trial for several months.
The 37 -year -old pastor is known in social networks for his Christian devotional songs and has more than 1,98,000 followers on Instagram. The supposed case of sexual assault in which it was arrested on the dates of May last year.
Jebaraj is accused of assaulting the two minor girls who last a party at his home in Coimbatore. One of the victims recently told a family member about what happened, which led to a complaint at the police station of all women, NDTV Reported.
Police continue their investigation. Jebaraj has been accused under sections 9 (L) and 9 (m) (aggravated sexual aggression), and section 10 (punishment for aggravated sexual assault) of the law of protection of children of sexual crimes (Pocso).
