There will be a common admission exam for students who wish to pursue BSC nursing of the academic year 2025-26, Minister of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Y. Satya Kumar Yadav has said.
In a meeting with representatives of nursing institutions, Hero to discuss the rationalization of management and admission in nursing institutions, at Dr. NTR of Health Sciences in Vijayawada on Thursday, the minister said during the last two years, the admission to the course was carried out through EAPCET and NEET. “But, from the 2025-26 academic year, a BIPC student also has to eliminate the common test of Entrance,” said the minister.
For this to happen, the admission process had in early April and ended in July, and should not be extended until November, he told the representatives of the nursing institutions of 13 districts. He added that an exam board would also form.
Universities that offer BSC nursing courses see an admission of around 13,000 students each year. This is for the first time that the State will carry out an entrance exam for the three -year course.
When the representatives expressed concern about the annual course of the course for the BSC and Wifray General Nursing courses, which according to them was too lower, the minister assured them that a decision would be tasks in this regard.
The representatives also demanded a comprehensive government order for the establishment and management of nursing conferences.
With respect to several complaints that was found, the minister made it clear that there should be no room for the commitment under any circumstance in the establishment of nursing educational institutes and the provision of quality education, Mattters.
