The Karnataka (KEA) exam authority has ordered a clothing code for candidates who write the common income (CET) test between April 15 and April 17.

The clothing code is as follows: Men/Women’s manga outfit, preferential neck. For men, it is “simple pants with minimal pockets/without bags. Kurta-Pyjamas, jeans and shoes are prohibited. All electronic devices will not be allowed, including mobile phones and headphones, inside the exam room,” said a statement.

Kea officials also instructed the candidates who will appear in the centers for an hour and a half before the start of the exam.

“The police and local guards will carry out thorough controls before allowing candidates to enter the exam rooms. The candidates must reach at least an hour and a half before the security evaluation. Facial recognition and verification of the QR code will guarantee the authenticity of the candidates,” said H. Prasanna, executive director, Kea.

Hello, he also said that “to stop negligence, the exam will be monitored through CCTV surveillance, similar to recruitment tests. Webcasting will track the 775 exam centers in real time. Authorities at the district level, including the attached commissioners and the main executors”

Mr. Prasanna urged the students not to omit CET even if they obtained a low score or have failed the PU exam in their first attempt, since CET offers the opportunity to improve the classifications.
