The president of the 20 -point program, Lanka Dinakar, who is also the main BJP spokeswoman for Andhra Pradesh, and Jammalamadgu Mla Ch. Adaryyana Reddy presented on Wednesday a memorandum or proposals to the president of the 16th Finance Commission, Arvind Panagariya, for his consultation.

They asked Mr. Panagariya to continue the existing return of 41% of fiscal income to the states, that they take into account the finance of the State before the completion of the return and continue with the subsidy of the income deficit for the states that have the deficit of dolution after taxes as exists.

Mr. Dinakar said that priority should be granted to the specific subsidies of the sector for the supply of safe drinking water, the installation of dialysis centers in districts affected by fluorosis, implementation of reforms in agriculture, among others.

Special attention is requested to evaluate the performance of aspirational districts and blocks, and the population and area criteria, marginal neighborhoods and infrastructure facilities to provide funds to local organisms should be consulted.

In addition, Mr. Dinakar and Mr. Adinarayana Reddy wanted due attention to provide adequate funds for disaster risk management, and sought timely liberation from matching subsidies under centrally sponsored schemes (CSS). The funds under several CSS that expired in 2019-24 must be carried out by the State to allow you to take advantage of these schemes for the benefit of the BJP leaders.
