The National Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI), K. Narayana, strongly objected the ongoing dispute on the alleged death of cows in ‘Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala’, the dairy farm directed by Tirumala Tirumala).
Mr. Narayana visited the facilities of the dairy farm in Tipruati on Wednesday and interacted with officials, staff members, including animal guardians who closely monitor the developments related to animals’ sheds. The visit came as a result of the accusations made by the former president of the Board of Trust, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, for the death of 100 cows in the last three months, which was refuted by the TTD administration later.
In statements to the media, Mr. Narayana said she had not found a shortage of fodder or lower quality supply to animals, as projecting a section of the political spectrum. However, he recalled that the personnel had confirmed to serve the forage infested with the worms in the past.
The CPI leader also observed that the deaths were natural and due to aging, but not due to negligence as alleged by Mr. Karunakar Reddy.
“The TTD is an institution of world fame, which earns close global attention. Devotes around the world visit this sanctuary and make offerings in the Tirumala temple, which are again used for the public’s well -being. Adding that the firm believed that the issue had come out deliberately by the interesting interests.
“We think that we personally do not believe in God, we maintain the institution that feeds or people,” he said.
