The compassion of Delhi’s prime minister, Rekha Gupta, for stray animals, was again on public exhibition on Saturday when Shey witnessed a car driver who fed cows on the street, which led her to leave her car and directly compromise with the person.

Gupta asked him not to feed the desire on the busy road, since such an act endangers the cattle and motorists separated from resulting in a food waste.

With his hands folded, CM Gupta asked the cows feeder, who was traveling in a blue car parked near a forgotten center, to avoid ‘rotis’ offer in crowded roads and asked him to do so in designated places or cows shelters. She said that ‘Roti’ is not only food but a “symbol of our culture, faith and respect.”

In addition, he published the video of his interaction with the man in X and asked Delhiites not to throw ‘Roti’ or no food on the road.

“While traveling in the capital today, I saw a man throw bread from his car to the road, presumable to feed a cow. I stopped the car and asked the man not to do it again. Roti is not just food for us, it is a symbol or our culture, faith and respect. Roti launch on the road forces cows and other animals to come to eat, which not only endangers their lives but also endangers the safety of people and vehicles walking along the road. The food should not be lacking in respect. If you want to feed the animals, do it in a goushala or in a designated place. This is a sign of our sensitivity, responsibility and values. I appeal to all Delhiitas: do not throw roti or any food on the road. Feed animals with love but responsible. Respect your culture and keep your paths safe. #Roadsafety, “he said in the publication while sharing the video.
