Before Hanuman Jayanti’s celebrations on Saturday, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advice detailing the resictions and deviations from traffic.
A large number of devotees are expected to visit the Hanuman to send in Jamuna Bazar through the day, with several religious processions and programs planned in the area, according to the notice.
It is likely that the movement of traffic is affected in several key stretching, including SPM Marg from Hanuman Mandir to Chhatta Rail Chowk, Ring Road from Shanti from Chowk to ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Outer Ring Road, he said.
You can also apply amusements in Old Iron Bridge, under Monkey Bridge in Ring Road, Chhatta Rail Chowk and GPOWK, depending on the Movement of Processions and Density of Crowds, he said.
The Traffic Police have advised travelers to go to the former Delhi Railway Station, ISBT, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and Tis Hazari courts to plan their trip in advance and be prepared for possible delays.
Public use or transport has been encouraged to help relieve road congestion.
People have also requested parking only in designated parking lots and avoid parking on the road to guarantee the soft traffic flow.
