Dhulipalla slams YSRCP leader’s ‘attack’ on YouTuber in police custody

TDP MLA DHULIPALLA NARENDRA has criticized the leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing the issue of continuing to act arrogance despite being out of power. Citing the incident that involved former deputy Gorantla Madhav, Mr. Dhulipalla alleged that Mr. Madhav attacked YouTuber Chebrolu Kiran while in police custody, qualifying her as a shameful stain of democracy, in a statement on Thursday.

Dhulipalla questioned how Madhav knew Kiran’s transfer route with information from YSRCP supporters within the police department. “This clearly indicates a premeditated assault,” he said.

By stating that the Government of the Alliance had arrested Mr. Kiran about inappropriate comments on the families of YSRCP leaders, Mr. Dhulipalla said that it was made within the legal limits, which reflects the integrity of the government.

He demanded an investigation and action against those who leaked information to Mr. Madhav. “If not, the attack in custody reflects a serious police failure,” he said.
