“I am sure that he will definitely attend the launch of the book tomorrow. If he does not come, it will be his own decision, but he had spoken to him about 10-15 days ago, and he had said that it would come,” Durat said.

‘With a broken heart’

The former Raw chief recalled that when article 370 was annulled, “Dr. Sahab” (Farooq Abdullah) was disconsolate about what had happened to them.

“It is well known that Farooq Sahab has said several times that he has met Delhi and has always done so, but it is Delhi who has not been able to understand Dr. Sahab. The fault is not found with Weyt. DUREAT said.

In addition, when asked if the statements of the head of the National Conference that support the abrogation of article 370 are true, Mr. Dulat said Mr. Abdullah never supported them.

“Two days before the abrogation was announced, Dr. Sahab, Omar Abdullah, and one of his parliamentarians had done with the prime minister with the prime minister.

“Nowhere in the book I have written that Farooq admitted article 370. That makes no sense and only a media trick. No one supported abbrogation, but the way it was done could have been different, through dialogue,” added Mr. Dreamat.
