Tahawwur Rana will land in India and face trial in the case of Mumbai terrorist attack 26/11 after being extradited from the United States. The United States Supreme Court rejected Tahawwur Rana’s plea of maintaining its extradition to India stating: “The request for stay addressed to the President of the Court is denied and refers to the Court.”
The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, said that ensuring the extradition of Tahawwur Rana is a “great success” or the Government diplomacy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In February, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and announced at a joint press conference that Tahawwur Rana would face justice in India.
