Electronic Voting Machines safe, tamper-proof: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar

The Electoral Chief Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Saturday (April 12, 2025) said that electronic voting machines (EVM) are “safe” and “to the proof of also.”

He said that the EVMs used in India cannot be connected to the Internet, Bluetooth or infrared and anyway it is not possible to alter it.

“In India, EVMs are used for voting exercise. Legal scrutiny has EVMs bone. Evm used in India may be connected to the Internet or Bluetooth or infrared. EVMs cannot be connected to anything. Therefore, it is not meek. Therefore, therefore, therefore. Kumar said he goes to the media in the Ramgarh of Jharkhand.

He said that more than five million VVPPP reports (voting paper audit) have leg accounts and so far no discrepancies have been informed. Mr. Kumar arrived in Ranchi on Friday (April 11, 2025) at night at a three -day visit to Jharkhand. The CEC on Saturday (April 12, 2025) interacted with electoral officials in Ramgarh.

Mr. Kumar added that no appeal (related to epic cards) is pending the electoral officer of the District or the Electoral Director (CEO), which means that the list of voters in Jharkhand is about 100% satisfactory for voters and others.
