A meeting broke out between security personnel and the Maoists in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Saturday (April 12, 2025) in the morning, said a senior police officer.
The shooting occurred around 9 am in a forest in the area of the Indravati National Park, where a security personnel team was in an anti-maoist operation, said the official.
He said that an intermittent fire exchange was still being carried out, and that more details are expected.
