The collector of the district of NTR, G. Lakshmisha, on Sunday (April 13) promised the farmers that each grain of rice would be acquired for the Rabi 2024-25 season and that there is no need for concern.
He visited the BUND area of the Polavaram channel and inspected the rice fields, observed the moisture content in the grains and inspected the process of loading the shares in trucks and transport to the mills.
The collector said that additional trucks have been organized to transfer all actions to the factories on Monday night. The collector said that on average, 900-1,100 metric tons of rice grains are obtained one day through 107 Rytu Seva Kendras (RSK) throughout the district.
