Family of four found dead in Idukki

A couple and their two minor children were found dead at home in Onpathekkar in Upputhara Panchayat in Idukki on Thursday night.

The dead were identified as Sajava Mohanan, 40, his wife, Reshma, 35, and his six -year -old son and his four -year -old daughter. Police found the four hanging in the Hall of the House.

Police suspect that the couple killed the children and committed suicide.

Sajev’s mother found the enclosed house and informed local people, who informed the police.

Sajev was an Authorickshaw driver in the city of Upputhara. His father, Mohanan, alleged that the staff of a private finance firm had threatened Wednesday and Sajev for not paying the two -month EMI quotas for a loan, the latter had tasks to buy an Authorickshaww.

According to the reports, the Police recovered a suicide of Sajev from the house. “Financial problems are suspended to have caused the law. The other problems behind the incident will be known only after scientific research,” said Iduki District Chief, TK Vishnu Praadep.
