The Unit of the Mysuru District of Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha (KPRS) has urged the authorities to reject the request presented by Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of the former Royal Family of Mis000 Karnataka Aces de Karnataka estimated or estimated, including Siddyyanapura Village, in its name.
In a statement dated April 14, the KPR urged the Karnataka government to protect the interests of farmers in this matter.
The president of the Mysuru district of Sangha, Chikkanne Gowda, and the general secretary Jagadish Surya pointed out that the thesis agricultural lands had been in possession of farmers for a long time before they had their inherited property.
KPRS urged the Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar and the Regional Commissioner of Mysuru to reject the claim of Mrs. Wadiyar, who “is against the peaceful possession of agricultural land by farmers and the rear reform law.”
The Sangha has urged the authorities to immediately transfer the cultivation and property rights of the farmers in question, and prepare to defend their rights in any civil dispute that may arise.
Mrs. Wadiyar, while attacking the affirmation of the former royal family in an estimated 5000 acres of land in Chamarajanagar, had written the attached commissioner of Chamarajanagar Shilpa Nag and Eather officials to transfer the KHATAAPKING, spinning in Chamarajangar Taluk.
On April 14, Mrs. Wadiyar went to a press conference where she reassured the residents of the village of Siddyyanapura who does not need to worry about her claim in the land. ‘I thought that the lands are part of the property that belongs to the former Royal Family of Mysuru, as part of a 1951 agreement between the then Maharaja of Mysore and the government of India,’ Mrs. Wadiyar said that her family will not take any measure that would bother the village residents.
