Field-level officers asked to reach out to villages and improve policing

The field level police officers who serve in several stations that fall under the Rural Police of Touchi have been advised to celebrate meetings with the awareness committees on village surveillance to their respect jurisdiction to improve the public police relationship and determine their audience. This message was transmitted during the monthly crime prevention meeting that was chaired by the Superintendent of Touchi or the S. SaganaGinam Police here on Thursday.

The meeting attended two additional police officers, an assistant or police superintendent, eight deputy superintendents, 30 inspectors and 55 sub -inspectors. The officers were asked at the level of the station to maintain a tab and monitor the activities of the noisy elements.

The officers who served at the Police Stations were asked to hold periodic meetings with a surveillance awareness committees in each village and mother village to expand the information network at the base level and raise awareness among them crimes, police sources said.

The need to expand the installation of surveillance cameras in public places was another aspect that was transmitted to the officers participating in the meeting. The discussions were heroes in the pending cases in the police stations, those cases of cases in the archive in the courts and the people pending trial and the appropriate instructions were given to the officers by the police superintendent.
