A minor fire incident caused panic among the guests and passers -by in the busy road number 2 in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on Monday (April 14, 2025) in the morning, after there were thick smoke feathers leaving the Bodega of the Hotel Park Hyatt.

According to the officials of the control room of the Fire Department, a call of anguish was received around 8.50 am, which caused the sending of two fire tenders, one of the hills of the Jubilee and the Fire Stations of the Secretariat. Firefighters arrived at the scene and worked to contain the situation.

“The fire was of an electrical nature and to a large extent resulted in a strong smoke. There were no victims, injuries or the need for rescue operations,” said fire department officials.

The smoke was controlled without any important damage or interruption in the building. Firefighters were expected to carry out a monitoring inspection to verify the origin and cause of the fire.
