The TMC deputy, Saket Gokhale, on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) expressed his disposition before the Superior Court of Delhi to resolve matters with former diplomat Lakshmi Murdeshwar Puri, whom Hom damages into a lacquer ₹ 50.

However, Mrs. Puri, former UN Deputy Secretary, rejected the offer of agreement, and her lawyer claimed that Mr. Gokhale had abused her without any base.

The court, after listening to the presentations of the lawyers of both parties, reserved the order in the pleas of Mr. Gokhale in search of retirement of the decision of July 1, 2024, together with their application to tolerate the delay or about 180 days to seek relief.

In the verdict of July 1, 2024, in addition to directing the publication of an apology and the payment of ₹ 50 Lakh as damage, the court prevented Mr. Gokhale to publish more content on social networks or electronic platforms on his accusations against Mrs. Puri.

Mr. Gokhale’s lawyer prayed to the order of ₹ 50 Lakh as costs to be remembered as his client faced a shortage of funds.

Mr. Gokhale had previously stated that he had been represented by a defender who later stopped appealing, and that he had not received any electronic communication in the procedure.

However, Mrs. Puri’s lawyer argued that Mr. Gokhale had been very aware of the July of the Court, and that she was continually observing the processes virtually.

Mrs. Puri had approached the Superior Court of Delhi in 2021, claiming that Mr. Gokhale turned off her good will and reputation by making recchress and false accusations regarding her financial affairs in the context of an department she owned in Geneva.
