From Obtaining Visa To 231 Calls, How Tahawwur Rana Aided David Headley In Plotting 26/11 Attacks

Tahawwur Hussain Rana, one of the key defendants in the terrorist attacks of Mumbai 11/12, made 231 telephone calls to his friend and main conspirator, David Coleman Headley, the eighties of Headley to India Bepore the Mortal Research Agency (NIA) has revealed.

Frog ties with Headley

Rana and Headley, both 64, are known since their days in a boarding school in Pakistan.

According to the NIA file, Rana actively helped Headley’s recognition in India. On September 14, 2006, Duration Headley’s first visit, the so -called frog more than 32 times. He contacted him 23 times on his second visit, 40 times in the third, 37 times in the fifth, 33 times in the sixth and 66 times on the eighth visit, India today Reported.

The archive also revealed that Rana supposedly helped Headley obtain an Indian visa, provided accommodation and helped him avoid detection while looking for places for attacks. The two also supposedly helped identify potential objectives such as India Gate, the National Defense College in Delhi and multiple Jewish centers, beyond those attacked in Mumbai in Mumbai

Headley, an American citizen of Pakistani ancestry, currently celebrates a 35 -year sentence in an American prison after those guilty of terrorism positions linked to Mumbai’s attacks and a separate plot aimed at a Danish newspaper.

India has repeatedly requested its extradition, but the United States has refused, citing a guilty agreement due to its cooperation with US researchers.

Rana is the battery of being a member of Lashkar-E-Taiba (LET), the terrorist group based in Pakistan responsible for planning and carrying out the 26/11 attacks. India also holds Pakistan’s intelligence services for supporting the operation.
